Marine Biology

Two-thirds of the Earth are covered by ocean and eighty percent of all life on Earth is found beneath the ocean’s surface. Marine Biology is the study of the animal, plant and microscopic life in the world’s oceans. The ocean is full of life.

Marketing

Marketing is the process of teaching consumers why they should purchase your product or service instead of your competitors. It includes advertising, selling and delivering products to consumers and other businesses. Getting the attention of a target market, persuade consumers to purchase your product or service, and provide customers with a specific, low-risk action that is easy to accomplish are the three main purposes of marketing.

Material Fatigue

Material fatigue is a term utilized in the field of materials science and is used to describe the weakening of materials when they are exposed to recurring loading and unloading. Microscopic cracks form when loads above a specific limit. When cracks reach an alarming size they will quickly spread, which leads the structure to rupture.

Materials

Materials are substances or mixtures of substances that forms an object. They can be classified by their physical or chemical properties, geological origin or biological function.

Materials Science

Material Science studies the properties of solid materials and how those properties are influenced by a material’s construction and structure. By understanding the sources of properties, materials can be selected or designated for a large selection of applications from structural steels to computer microchips.

Mathematics

Mathematics is all around us, in everything we do. It is the study of numbers, equations, functions, geometric shapes and their relationships. Mathematics facilitates better problem skills, analytical thinking, and reasoning skills.

Mechanical Design

Mechanical Design or mechanical drafting that create designs for mechanical devices and equipment. These designers work with engineers and other professionals to create or modify manufacturing systems or processes. Mechanical designers review design specifications given to them by engineers and project managers to develop mechanical layouts.

Mechanics

Mechanics is the branch of physics that deals with the motion of bodies and how the use of force influences those bodies, including when they are at rest.  There are three branches of mechanics: statics, dynamics, and kinematics. Statics deal with forces acting on a body at rest. Kinematics describes the possible motion of a body or bodies. Kinetics tries to explain or predict the motions that will happen under certain situations.

Media

Media is defined as various means of communication. There are three main types of news media, such as broadcasting, publishing, and the Internet. Broadcast media include television and radio, published media, includes newspapers and magazines, and the Internet.

Those working in medical billing negotiate and coordinate payment between the doctor, patient, and the patient’s insurance company.

Medical Coding

Medical coding is the converting of important medical information into simple codes. This is done to document medical records and insure accurate medical billing. Medical coding allows the consistent documentation of information between medical facilities, the uniform transmission of medical records, and the tracking of health trends.

Medical Devices

Medical devices are instruments, apparatus, implements, machines or implants, in-vitro reagents, components, or accessories that are made to be used to diagnose disease. These devices are also used in the cure, alleviation, treatment, or disease prevention.

Medical Malpractice

Medical malpractice is a specialty of malpractice which deals with health care that causes injury or death because care deviates from accepted standards of practice. This type of malpractice occurs when a doctor, hospital or other healthcare professional causes an injury to a patient by an act of negligence, error in diagnosis, treatment or health management.

Metallurgy

Metals are the most important Engineering materials and the foundation of the engineering industry.   Metallurgy is the science and technology involved with the properties of metals and their production. It is used to separate metals from their ores and adapt the metals for use. Metallurgy affects the physical, chemical and atomic properties and structure of metals.

Metals

Nearly, three-quarters of all chemical elements are metals. Metals are solid materials that are usually shiny, flexible, fusible, and is good for conducting heat and electricity.

Meteorology
