Image Processing

There are two primary types of image processing, digital and analog. Digital image processing utilizes computer algorithms in order to process digital images, while analog image processing is conducted on two-dimensional analog signals through analog processes.

Imaging

According to the World Health Organization, approximately 4.3 million individuals around the world die due to indoor air pollution, although the US ranks lower than other countries in this regard.

Industrial

Industrial refers to a group of manufacturers or businesses that produce a product or service. There are four types of industry: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Quaternary. Primary industries are involved in obtaining raw materials, such as mining, farming, and fishing. Secondary industries manufacture products, like cars and steel. Tertiary manufacturing provides services, such as teaching or nursing. Quaternary manufacturing is associated with research and development, like Information Technology.

Communication theorist Marshall McLuhan coined the phrase “the Global Village,” to describe what he believed would be the outcomes of innovative telecommunications, biomedical discoveries, and other technological changes. McLuhan believed those innovations were homogenizing and bringing nations closer together in every area used to measure and describe a progressive and evolving society.
