Image Processing

There are two primary types of image processing, digital and analog. Digital image processing utilizes computer algorithms in order to process digital images, while analog image processing is conducted on two-dimensional analog signals through analog processes.


Ultrasounds, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), X-rays, and Mammography are all types of imaging technologies. The reproduction or representation of an object’s form is known as imaging. Medical imaging is used to view different parts of the human body in order to diagnose, observe, and treat medical conditions.
