Two-thirds of the Earth are covered by ocean and eighty percent of all life on Earth is found beneath the ocean’s surface. Marine Biology is the study of the animal, plant and microscopic life in the world’s oceans. The ocean is full of life. There are many different ecosystems, or communities of living things that survive by interacting with one another and their environment. By studying the ocean’s plants and animals, Marine Biologists can study the effects of pollution, climate change and other human activities on the ocean’s ecosystems. Our marine biology experts have worked as marine biologists, physiologists, chemists, toxicologists, environmental scientists, ecologists, to name a few. With hundreds of years of combined experience, our marine biology experts have successfully testified for both plaintiffs and defense in a variety of cases and are prolific international authors and lecturers. Their published works span topics that include environmental impacts on marine communities, biogeography, chaetognatha, algae, poaching of sea trout, coral reef ecology, nutrient cycling, Antarctic fish, and nervous system structure.
