I have 30 years of experience, and specialize in the field of electrical and electronic engineering with specific knowledge in the areas of electonic devices and sensors, electronic cirsuits and electromechanical devices. I have published on such topics as transistors, DNA and gas sensors and electrical circuits. I have testified on expert witness regarding the failure of alcohol bracelet. I am professor and chairman of the department of electrical engineering. I am also the director of the biomedical engineering program. I have been teaching and conducting research in the area of microelectronic devices, sensors, and nanostructures for more than 20 years. I have been a consultant for many years to many industrial firms. I have been invited to be a session chair and invited speaker in many professional conferences. I provided a consulting service to the Egyptian government in 2000, regarding the establishment of high tech industry in Egypt.
