Traumatic Brain Injury Expert Witnesses

According to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (2019), there are approximately 1.7 million cases of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in the United States every year. About 5.3 people live with disabilities caused by TBI. Traumatic Brain Injuries when the head violently and suddenly hits a hard object, or an object pierces the skull and enters the brain tissue. Symptoms range from mild to severe. Mild cases can lead to a temporary mental state of consciousness, while severe causes can result in extended periods of unconsciousness, coma or death.
