Round Table Group Creates New Discussion Series

RTG Experts Take Question on Today's Thorniest Issues Likely to Arise in Litigation

Round Table Group is pleased to announce a new series, Discussions at the Round Table, where its experts converse with attorneys in a freeform discussion on a variety of topics. The first topic is Order Out of Chaos: Supply Chain Management/Logistics in Times of Disruption.

During this first interactive discussion, experts Zal Phiroz and Jerry Davis will share their insights into supply chain management and logistics issues that arise from disasters. Dan Rubin, Round Table Group’s National Business Development Manager, will moderate as the experts field questions from attorneys on how supply chains react when placed under stress from worldwide disasters like the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as more localized disasters like hurricanes and earthquakes. They will discuss impacts on distribution, storage, delivery delays, force majeure clauses, and ways manufacturers and wholesalers balance between contracted requirements and pressure from their largest customers.

Jerry Davis has decades of experience in supply chain logistics, starting with supermarkets in the 1970s. During his time in the supermarket industry, Mr. Davis served as president of the OK Grocery Company where he led 2,000 employees in building a company with sales exceeding one billion dollars. Mr. Davis now consults on Supply Chain, 3PL and Reverse Logistics issues. Overall, Mr. Davis has negotiated more than 100 contracts between 3PL’s and clients from both sides of the table.
