I have 20 years of experience, and specialize in the field of pharmacology with specific knowledge in the areas of pharmacogenetics, toxicology and drug side effects. I have published on such topics as pharmacogenetics, chemical carcinogenesis and protein structural biochemistry. I have testified on pharmaceutical patent litigation. I currently act as chair of the department of pharmacology and toxicology at a university, with administrative responsibility for a complement of over 60 internationally recognized scientific faculty members, in one of the oldest and largest pharmacology departments. I have also had senior managerial experience in the United States biotechnology sector.
