I have 30 years of experience in the field of food safety, with specific knowledge in the areas of toxicology, food safety, standards development, and regulatory complaince. I have published on such topics as food additive safety of amino acids, gums, metal salts, and the value of standards in food trade. I am one of only a limited number of members in learned societies of pharmacology, toxicology and food science, highly specialized subset of food safety science.
