I have 18 years of experience, and specialize in the field of energetic materials with specific knowledge in the areas of explosives, propellants and pyrotechnics, and explosive-driven pulsed power. I have published on such topics as explosive-driven pulsed power, blast mitigation for civil structures and energetic materials safety. I have been able to continue the energetic materials research, development, and instruction that I performed while on active duty in the military, now as an associate professor in the area of explosives engineering.
