I have 31 years of experience, and specialize in the field of biochemical pharmaoclogy of antineoplastic drugs with specific knowledge in the areas of anti-leukemia drugs, asparaginases and nucleoside analogs. I have published on such topics as the mechanism of action of these agents, their effects in controlling the disease short term and long term (cured patients). I have worked with a handful of investigational drugs. Three of these have been licensed by the FDA either as an expansion in pediatric oncology patients (CYtosar0U and FLudara(TM); the third, ONCASPAR(TM) has been licensed to be usced in front line of treatmetn in both pediatric and adult ALL -lymphoma patients.
