Internet Communications and VOIP Expert Witness #2264

This expert is currently the director of the Information Systems & Telecommunications Laboratory at a major university. His research centers around robustness issues in multivariable system analysis and design, as well as on packet and wireless communications and networks. Additional current research in the fields include congestion control for ATM and power line networks with real-time traffic, packet telephony, the robustness of systems in the presence of parametric uncertainties and using electronic connectivity to facilitate remote collaboration and distance education via Asynchronous Learning Networks (ALNs).
As a practicing engineer, this expert is directly involved with the design and implementation of all aspects of internet related communications, including streaming video and audio services, VoIP (Voice-Over-Internet Protocol) and E-mail and Web services. He has also worked directly in creating interactive voice response systems using a variety of hardware and software platforms.

He has published more that 150 articles in international journals and conference proceedings and he has supervised more than five million dollars of research at his University.
