I have 15 years of experience, and specialize in the field of economic development with specific knowledge in the areas of various aspects of rural poverty in Asia, policies to address them and quantitative and econometric analysis. I have published on such topics as rural poverty dynamics in the Philippines, child labor and gender issues in India and poverty of female headed households. I visit and stay (between a week to a month) in rural areas in Asia, mainly in the Philippines or India, for fieldwork every year, and have published extensively on economics of rural poverty. Also have consulted international agencies, such as the World Bank and FAO, on a regular basis.
