This year's Summit has a particular emphasis on impacting policies relating to the vulnerable populations we serve, and will integrate prominent themes of healthcare reform including quality of care and healthcare disparities solutions with medical-legal partnership trends in service delivery, education, and evaluation. Medical-legal partnership teams will meet with members of Congress and staff to educate them about MLP and its impact on vulnerable populations in communities across the United States. Topics to Include: Training with government relations and public affairs experts, Meetings with members of Congress and staff, Revolutions and Reforms in the Health Community, Patients to Policy: What Does It Take to Change Policies that Impact Vulnerable Communities? Revolutions and Reforms in the Legal Community, Medical-Legal Partnership: The Movement Towards the Future.
