Enforcement Trends in Securities & Commodities Actions 2010Senior representatives from the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodities Futures Trading Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the business community will discuss enforcement priorities for the coming year in securities and commodities investigations and enforcement actions. The discussion will include current enforcement efforts under the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act, insider trading and the on-going investigations related to the Galleon case, the new reorganization of the SEC's division of enforcement. Further, we'll cover the key issues regarding primary and secondary liability as well as the liability of executives to repay bonuses as in the SEC's Jenkins case, the impact of pending legislation regarding hedge funds, derivatives and investment advisers and other key enforcement topics.
