A Day in the Life

You will be working with lawyers from top law firms who need your knowledge and insight. Initially, you will be learning about the case details and what is expected from your role in the proceedings. This process may take place as face-to-face meetings or via teleconferencing or video conferencing. Usually, the expert is expected to produce some research for the case, such as a report or background research, to support the client's efforts. Many experts are expected to testify during the trial. Testifying can be a powerful experience in which your insight and opinion can leave a lasting, perhaps even history-making, impact on the issue in dispute.

What We Look For

Not everyone can be an expert witness; it takes more than unique, extensive, and credible experiences. Being a good expert witness also requires a skilled communicator, a patient teacher, and a creative thinker whose ideas lead his or her industry.
