Michael SternSenior Vice President of Expert Services
Mike Stern is Senior Vice President of Expert Services at Round Table Group. Mike obtained his undergraduate degree in government from Cornell University and received his JD from New York University School of Law.
Following law school, Mike had a varied business, technical, and legal career. He was an enforcement attorney with the New York Regional Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission before becoming a vice president and general counsel of a manufacturing business, The Flobert Company.
His first position introducing attorneys to helpful technology solutions was with Bowne of New York City, the oldest and, at that time, largest financial printing company. Building on his litigation support experience at Bowne, he then joined Aspen Systems Corporation, where he provided consulting, operations, management, marketing, and sales solutions using their massive litigation support database system. Following Aspen, he headed a 200-person litigation support operation at Litton Mellonics.
He then joined Congressional Information Services, a Lexis-Nexis Company, as vice president of research, planning and developing. During this period, Mike directed new product development and market research for their library information publishing company. In this role, Mike brought the organization into the electronic age and also ran acquired companies.
Before joining Round Table Group, Mike provided litigation support and text management consulting services at his own company, M.P. Stern and Associates, and served as an adjunct consultant for the James Keane Company.
Mike began with Round Table Group in January 2001 as Vice President of Litigation. As Round Table Group has developed, Mike's role has expanded, and he is now Senior Vice President of Expert Services. In this role, he continues to provide our attorney clients with access to the expert witnesses they require. He does this by defining their expert witness search requirements and working closely with them from the beginning of their expert search process and all the way through their retention of a Round Table Group expert witness.
